A large two level environmental education building located in Hagge Park which houses four offices, an exhibit area, classroom, library, kitchen and two storm shelters. The Conservation Center is completely handicap accessible. The upper level consists of an exhibit area to display several animal mounts, interactive displays, an observation deck, restrooms and a smaller scale gift shop. The lower level includes a classroom utilized by schools, youth & civic groups, as well as several local organizations. The library serves as a small meeting room equipped with several environmental books and magazines that can be checked out. There is also internet access available for individuals wanting to do project research or school work in a quiet setting. A full kitchen is made available to use as well. There are two storm shelters available for use during inclement weather. One is open 24 hours 7 days a week during the camping season for our park visitors. There are also two restrooms in the lower level as well.
