Sac County Conservation is located in west-central Iowa and with its headquarters located in Hagge Park, along the North Raccoon River. We manage 3 larger parks and many wildlife areas, with hiking trails and water recreation accesses on approximately 907 acres across the county.

Many recreational opportunities await you at these areas, ranging from biking the scenic Sauk Rail Trail, to walking the wooded trails of Hagge Park, hunting at Whitetail Woods or canoeing the North Raccoon River. There is plenty of opportunity for camping, birdwatching, fishing, hiking and more!
