This 120 acre park is split by the Boyer River. East of the river the park is developed for recreational purposes such as camping and picnicking. It has a large enclosed shelterhouse, campground with 7 sites, a playground and a small pond. West of the river the park is undeveloped and managed as a wildlife area. A large evergreen plantation, hardwood plantings and native grass plots makes up the majority this area along with a small crop field. There are plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast to partake in. The Boyer River is home to bullheads and channel catfish. Hunting for whitetail deer, pheasants, rabbits and other small game can be sought after during the appropriate seasons.
